Foldable Wash Basin

The folding wash basin combines the functions of a washing basin, a toilet and a storage container. It is ideal for camping trips and for outdoor fishing. There are many foldable wash basins on the market. But they lack the utility of a true folding device. However, they can fold down when they are not in use, but the folded basin is not easy to tear. First, a rotating shaft is slidably disposed on the mounting body. The sink frame is connected to the rotating shaft. A latch is fixed on the mounting body on both sides of the sink frame. In operation, the rotary joint connects the mounting body and the water tank rack. When the sink frame is folded, the two blocks mate in a rotating arc structure.

Second, there is a card slot located between the two blocks. In the context of the present invention, the card slot is used to clamp a holder for the water tank. The block moves into the card slot in a corresponding manner when the support member is removed.

The invention also contains the secret of the crease. The crease is located on the portion of the water tank that is soft. For this reason, the structure of the present invention is a bit more complicated.

The best feature of the invention is the fusion of soft and hard materials. A combination of the soft and hard materials achieves the best of both worlds, namely, stiffening when the wash basin is unfolded and the foldable effect when the basin is not in use.

The folding mechanism has been improved. Specifically, a torsion spring is mounted on the rotating shaft. A bracket box is also slidably disposed on the water tank rack. To achieve the foldable effect, the latching device is attached to the mounting body. Similarly, a rotary joint is slidably disposed on the water reservoir.

A supporting assembly is also attached to the sink frame. It includes a hinge, a pin, and a support block. The support assembly is a trinity of the functionally related functions of a hinge, a pin and a spring. These three components provide the necessary stiffening, allowing the sink frame to be flexed and then folded into the card slot.

Lastly, the folding effect is achieved by a torsion spring. While the present invention is not the only solution to the folding problem, it is certainly one of the most effective. Of course, the foldable wash basin can be rolled up into its compact form, and it is also not easy to tear.
